OBJECTIVE
Willy’s Street Cafe is hands down a local favorite, but– a bit behind the times causing pain points for themselves and customer’s. Thus, I have created an easy-to-use online ordering app to address customer’s primary concerns, convenience and ease.

OVERVIEW
The product: Willy’s Street Cafe is hands down a local favorite, but– a bit behind the times causing pain points for themselves and customer’s. Thus, I have created an easy-to-use online ordering app to address customer’s primary concerns, convenience and ease. The problem: Although a local favorite, locals are feeling frustrated and inconvenienced when attempting to order in person. The goal: To create an easy-to-use ordering app to address customer’s frustrations.

UNDERSTANDING THE USER
USER RESEARCH SUMMARY
I conducted usability testing to prove my hypothesis and gain user insight. I recruited six willing participants who matched the target user profile. The target user profile was initially a variety of individuals who enjoyed occasional meals from local restaurants but was then altered to individuals who exhibited time-constraints who ate at local restaurants more than a couple of times per month. This alternative allowed for a more comprehensive understanding of the initial hypothesized pain points.
PERSONA
Problem Statement: Brandy is an extremely busy Art Directory who enjoys eating out at lunch time but has time restrictions.
"I don't mind dinning in when I have the time but the problem is, I never have enough time for much of anything."

STORY BOARD
The user has valid and realistic concerns that can be address with a functional user friendly app. I had a lot of fun sketching a very hungry customer contemplating where to eat, followed by Willy's Cafe app discovery, and resulting in satisfied customer.
PAPER WIREFRAMES
During the creation of the paper wireframes I wanted to get the main screens sketched up with various ideas about the placement of buttons, pictures, text... etc. I went through a number of iterations before proceeding.
DIGITAL WIREFRAMES
Having most of the pain points in mind, my goal was to give the user more options when ordering due to the common theme of time constraint amongst users.
